DIMAPUR — A Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT) Free Surgical Camp is underway at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Dhansiripar, Chümoukedima, on January 14 to provide free surgical healthcare services to the people of the area.
Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, MLA and team leader of CM-MOT, in his address stated that Dhansiripar is the 23rd location covered under the programme since its launch on January 26, 2025, and informed that more than 1,000 surgeries had been conducted so far.
According to a DIPR report, he said that such people-centric initiatives are possible due to the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister. He added that the aim of the free health camp is to provide quality healthcare services, particularly for the rural population who do not have the resources and access to higher medical centres, and to bring surgical services accessible to people at their doorstep.

The health camp offered surgical, dental and anaesthesia services free of cost, along with pre- and post-operative care, and also provided OPD consultation services for patient screening and medical assessment.
