DIMAPUR — The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS), also Chang Students' Conference, conducted an inspection of the Medical Superintendent office, Tuensang, on June 5.
In a press release, the CWS informed that during the inspection, it was observed that some staff members have been “consistently irregular in discharges their duties.”
“This prolonged absenteeism has not only disrupted administrative operations but has also severely hampered the delivery of essential services to the public,” the student body stated.
The CWS informed all irregular staff members to report to their respective posting place by June 21, cautioning that non-compliance will invite appropriate disciplinary measures as deemed fit.

The conference reiterated its steadfast commitment to protecting public rights and welfare, stressing that public service demands integrity, dedication, and accountability.
It also affirmed that to prevent future lapses, the conference will be conducting regular surprise inspections at government institutions (per Resolution No. 26) to monitor staff attendance, service delivery, and performance.
“This step is being taken in the larger interest of public welfare, transparency, and accountability in governance,” the CWS added.
