- DIMAPUR — The Central
Nagaland Students' Association (CNSA) on Friday adopted four resolutions during
its 5th general conference held at IMC hall Dimapur.
- The CNSA reaffirms its support to the ongoing demand of the
Five Tribes Committee on Reservation Policy (CORRP) for review of Reservation
Policy in Nagaland.
- The association also unanimously decided to continue support
to the All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) on its demand for upgrade of Kheloshe
Polythenic Atoizu to a full-fledged engineering college.

- “The CNSA shall endeavour to preserve and promote cultural
tourism and the traditional heritage by envisaging a common CNSA festival for
cultural assimilation and unity within the three tribes of Central Nagaland and
beyond Naga indigenous tribes,” the third resolution stated.
- Further, the association resolved that any leader
representing the three tribal students' body to frontal organisations should
continue to stand constantly united on any issues and challenges that
comprehend CNSA.
- The CNSA also elected a new team of office bearers for the
tenure of 2025-28, led by Zuchobemo Jungi as president, Mughaka K Zhimo (vice
president); Imnayanger Jamir (general secretary), Vikupu Awomi (joint
secretary), Puloto G Awomi (finance secretary), Reshiameren Longkumer
(education secretary), Jamedi Jamir (cultural secretary), Meytila (women
co-ordinator), Bito Yeptho, Toito Awomi, Moayanger Jamir, and Imsutoshi Imchen
(co-opted members).
