Chiephobozou ADC Vekusheyi Rhakho chaired a weekly Census review meeting to evaluate the layout map progress.
DIMAPUR — A weekly Census review meeting for the Chiephobozou sub-division was held at the office chamber of the assistant district commissioner (ADC) in Chiephobozou, Kohima, on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, Chiephobozou ADC Vekusheyi Rhakho said that the objective was to review the progress of the layout map and resolve operational issues faced by officers during the census exercise, according to a DIPR report.
Stressing the importance of quality and accuracy of data, the ADC requested that the census supervisors conduct regular visits and random checks to clear doubts.
He also reminded them of the importance of confidentiality while carrying out the census operational activities and asked them to strictly follow the acts, rules, and guidelines given by the Department of Census.
The ADC urged supervisors to take immediate action and seek guidance wherever an error is detected, addressing the issues with help from master trainers or the census nodal officer.

During the session, all supervisors present highlighted their operational and progress status reports and discussed their challenges and grievances in the ongoing House Listing Operation.
Officials from the Directorate of Census, Kohima, including Assistant Director Chuyalo Kath and Senior Executive Dr. Kekrietshunuo Kire, were also present. They interacted with the enumerators and highlighted the necessary guidelines for the supervisors.
Field trainers for the census operation, Alemsongla Jamir and Ruthla Sangtam, both lecturers at DIET, Chiechama, highlighted various guidelines and issues in the presence of Chiephobozou Town Charge Officer and Extra Assistant Commissioner Viketoulie Metha and Botsa Charge Officer and Extra Assistant Commissioner Annie Khieya.
