KOHIMA — Langsa Hill FC ended their campaign on a high note, defeating Lüshe FC 7-0 in the third-place playoff of the 9th Captain Kengurüse MVC Memorial Football Tournament at the IG Stadium on Wednesday.
Langsa Hill dominated proceedings from the outset, maintaining much of the possession and pressure inside Lüshe’s half. The breakthrough came in the 3rd minute through Eshong, setting the tone for what became a one-sided encounter.
Vinato was the standout performer, scoring four goals in a commanding display. His first came in the 30th minute, followed by Eshong’s second goal three minutes later. Vinato added another before halftime to give Langsa Hill a comfortable lead.

David extended the advantage early in the second half, while Vinato completed his four-goal tally with strikes in the 57th and 88th minutes, sealing a comprehensive win for his side.
Despite efforts to regroup, Lüshe FC struggled to contain Langsa Hill’s sustained attacks and high-tempo play throughout the match.
With the emphatic victory, Langsa Hill FC secured the second runner-up position, rounding off the tournament with a strong performance that reflected their consistency and attacking flair.
