DIMAPUR — A capacity-building training for additional heads of departments (AHoDs) and senior officers, initiated by former Chief Secretary Dr. J Alam, concluded at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, on Saturday.
A total of 61 IAS, NCS, and ex-cadre officers underwent the training, which was conducted over working Saturdays in two rounds, stated a DIPR report.
The first batch of training was held on all working Saturdays from May 31 to July 5, whereas the second phase was from July 19 to August 30.

Topics for the training included rules of executive business, service matters, service and conduct rules, discipline and appeal rules, IT tools in governance, budget and finance matters, treasury, accounts and audit matters, planning matters and legal aspects of governance.
Additionally, the training programme for officers included other subject matters, sourcing external resource persons to provide expertise and insights to enhance the skills and knowledge of officers, and promoting effective governance and leadership.
