
Children and families participate in the registration
process during the health screening and intervention camp organised by the
Bumblebee Society in Kohima.
- DIMAPUR — A free
screening and early intervention camp was organised by the Bumblebee Society
from April 28 to the 30th at Upper Agri Colony, Kohima.
- According to a press release, during the three-day camp,
about 200 children attended and received services such as eye and dental
check-ups, occupational therapy, speech and audiology, clinical psychology
assessment, screening and assessment, Aadhaar enrolment, E-Shram, Chief
Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), and Ayushman.

- It said that these services were provided mostly to children
with disabilities who face several challenges and difficulties in getting
themselves enrolled due to the long waiting period and unfamiliar environment.
- The camp was supported by the ANAHA Trust in collaboration
with Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi; Nagaland Health Mission; the DC Office,
Kohima; and the Entrepreneurs Associates, Kohima.
