Organisations in Nagaland strongly condemn the sexual assault of a minor girl in Dimapur and demand swift justice.

DIMAPUR — The BJP Mahila Morcha of Mon district and the NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) have condemned the recent sexual assault and physical abuse of a minor girl in Dimapur.
In a statement, the BJP Mahila Morcha of Mon district appreciated the Dimapur Police for their swift action in arresting the accused and stressed that justice must be delivered promptly and impartially, without any fear, favouritism, delay, or undue interference.
The unit added that the legal process must proceed transparently and efficiently to serve as a strong deterrent against sexual offences and to uphold the safety and well-being of minors in society.
The NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) expressed shock and deep concern over the reported sexual assault and physical abuse of the minor girl. The group described the crime as a grave violation of the rights, dignity, and security of a child and an affront to the fundamental values of humanity and justice.

The NSCN/GPRN condemned the act and denounced all individuals who directly or indirectly participated in, facilitated, concealed, or aided the commission of the crime.
The group extended sympathies and solidarity to the victim and her family during this difficult time, noting that the physical, psychological, and emotional trauma inflicted upon the minor victim is immeasurable and demands immediate and sustained attention.
It urged the concerned authorities to ensure that the victim receives comprehensive medical treatment, psychological counselling, rehabilitation support, and adequate protection.
The NSCN/GPRN called upon investigating agencies to conduct a prompt, impartial, transparent, and thorough investigation. It demanded that all persons responsible, including accomplices, be identified and brought to justice, ensuring that the dignity, privacy, and welfare of the victim remain paramount.
