BJP Kiphire resolves to contest the 2028 general election independently and pledges support to state leadership during its executive meeting.

DIMAPUR — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kiphire District unanimously adopted a resolution to contest the 2028 general election in Nagaland independently, without any seat-sharing arrangement, during its district executive meeting held at Seili Complex, Kiphire, on Monday.
According to an update, the resolution was passed after extensive deliberations on various issues concerning the district and the state.
The district executive expressed its support to the leadership of Benjamin Yepthomi, state BJP president, and Y Patton, deputy chief minister of Nagaland. The house pledged cooperation and support to BJP state officials representing Kiphire district.
The district executive extended its appreciation to A Pangjung Jamir, BJP legislator and in charge of Kiphire and advisor for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, for his guidance and contributions towards the growth of the party under Kiphire district. The gathering expressed support to the policies and programmes initiated by the BJP state office.

The district executive resolved to fortify the party organisation at the grassroots level, expand membership and ensure annual meetings at the mandal level under the leadership of respective mandal presidents.
During the meeting, the induction of new executives was carried out by K Chumseli Anar, state vice president, BJYM, while short speeches were delivered by Kiumusu, president, 60 Mandal; Liose, general secretary, 59 Mandal; Thritsali, BJP leader; and Thritongse, vice president, BJP Kiphire District.
The general secretary’s report was presented, after which Tali C Sangtam, president, BJP Kiphire District, delivered the presidential address.
