Vice-President of India CP Radhakrishnan arrives in Dimapur to attend Nagaland University’s eighth convocation at Lumami.

DIMAPUR — Vice-President of India CP Radhakrishnan, who is on a three-day visit to three Northeastern states, landed at Dimapur Airport on Friday and was received by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio along with cabinet ministers Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, Health and Family Welfare Minister Paiwang Konyak, PHED and Cooperation Minister Jacob Zhimomi, and Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Zhaleo Rio.
Following a guard of honour at the airport, the Vice-President departed for Nagaland University, Lumami in Zunheboto district to address its eighth convocation as the chief guest.
He will also attend the convocations of the other two central universities in Mizoram and Tripura.

Rio took to his X account and tweeted that it was a pleasure to welcome the Vice President of India on his maiden visit to Nagaland to attend the 8th Convocation of Nagaland University while wishing him a pleasant stay and a memorable time in the state.
Y Patton also took to his X account updating the arrival of Radhakrishnan and welcoming him on his maiden visit to Nagaland.
“A proud moment for the graduating students and the academic community, wishing the VP a pleasant stay and a memorable experience”, he tweeted.
