Bhagyashree Banayat takes over as new CEO Nagaland

DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (EMN) — Bhagyashree Bhimraoji Banayat, a 2012-batch IAS officer of the Nagaland cadre, has assumed charge as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Nagaland, succeeding Vyasan R, with effect from May 16.
In a letter to the Principal Secretary, Election Commission of India, Rahul Sharma, the Joint CEO of Nagaland, R Mhathung, stated that Banayat’s appointment follows the Election Commission’s letter dated May 14, 2025.
