DIMAPUR — The Best Farmers Award felicitation programme was held at Phenwhenyu Village Council Hall, Tseminyu, on Tuesday, with EAC Tseminyu, Mhathung Ngullie, as the special guest.


According to an update, speaking on the occasion, Ngullie stated that recognition by the North East Initiative Development Agency in Tseminyu district has helped farmers gain confidence.


He encouraged the adoption of sustainable agriculture methods, contributing to long-term ecological balance and economic resilience in remote areas.

Such recognition given today, he said, will further encourage many farmers, helping them create more opportunities to increase their income and quality of life in the days to come.


During the programme, short speeches were delivered by Junior Soil Conservation Officer Tseminyu Pelei Theunuo and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Kenalo Kath.
