Beautification drive conducted in Mangmetong, Longmisa villages

MOKOKCHUNG — In collaboration with the Department of Art and Culture, the PHED Mokokchung division organised a cleaning and beautification drive of Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin (SBM-G) assets at Mangmetong village under Ongpangkong South and Longmisa village under Ongpangkong North Block, Mokokchung district, on Tuesday.

The initiative was taken under Har Ghar Tiranga and Har Ghar Swachhata Campaign 2025.

The event featured flag hoisting and a pledge-taking ceremony, promoting unity and cleanliness within the community.

The beautification efforts included painting patriotic pictures, planting flowers around water reservoirs and the pump house, and setting up a photo booth.
