WOKHA — Bailey Baptist College, Wokha, conducted a community outreach initiative across multiple locations in Wokha town on August 28, featuring street plays and flash mobs aimed at raising awareness on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Held on the theme ‘Educate and protect against HIV/AIDS and STIs,’ the programme sought to sensitise the public on the causes, modes of transmission, and preventive measures related to HIV/AIDS and STIs, while encouraging responsible behaviour and informed choices.

Student-led performances were staged at Isaiah Ability School, Government Higher Secondary School Wokha, Wokha Police Station, Police Point below the Deputy Commissioner’s office, and NST colony.
The initiative drew attention from passersby and engaged diverse sections of the community, including students, law enforcement personnel, and local residents.
College authorities informed that the outreach was part of their ongoing efforts to promote health education and youth-led advocacy in the district.
