  • He also explained that the Department of Industries and Commerce serves as the nodal agency to implement the policy with the overarching goal of positioning Nagaland as a model startup leader in the region. He stated that the policy aims to inspire the youth to become job creators rather than job seekers, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and innovation-driven economy.

  • Delivering the welcome address, the SDPO of Pughoboto, Hankiumong, emphasised the importance of encouraging entrepreneurship among the youth in rural and semi-urban areas.

  • The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Yesheli Achumi, LDA at SDIC Pughoboto.

  • Report stated that the awareness programme reflected the growing momentum for entrepreneurship in Nagaland and the efforts of local institutions to bridge the gap between policy and grassroots implementation.
