DIMAPUR — The Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) concluded its 16th Annual Pastors’ Conference at Changtongya town on Sunday. It had commenced on October 24.
The three-day conference, themed “Global vision for the Gospel”, was hosted and sponsored by the Nepali Baptist Church, Changtongya town, according to an update.
The event brought together pastors, church leaders, and delegates representing Gorkha Baptist churches from across Nagaland, serving as a key spiritual milestone in the AGBCN calendar to promote unity, pastoral renewal, and mutual encouragement among the participating congregations.

The main speakers at the conference included Rev. Dr. K Santabir Rai, executive secretary, AGBCN; Rev. Temshi, pastor, Changtongya Town Baptist Arogo; Rev. I Lipok, pastor, NCRC CTIN Town Centre; and Mr. Joshua Gurung, pastor, NBC Sechu Zubza.
The programme featured worship sessions, Bible studies, workshops, and open discussions focused on enhancing church leadership and community outreach. Cultural performances, hymnal presentations, and fellowship activities were also held to foster deeper bonds of faith and friendship among the clergy.
Following the main sessions, a games and sports meet was organised to promote physical well-being, camaraderie, and friendly competition among pastors and delegates. The event featured a range of team and individual games.
