Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Council appreciates Kohima Police

DIMAPUR — The Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Council (AKMWC) has appreciated the professional skills of investigation by Kohima Police in unearthing the cold blooded murder case of Vihozhonu Zao on October 25.

In an update the association has appealed to the Kohima Police/ SIT to leave no stone unturned and expose the perpetrators involved in inhuman act and award stringent punishment as per the law of the land.

AKMWC also expressed serious concern over adoption issue by many Nagas and called upon every citizen to think twice before adopting non-indigenous Nagas. It also reminded the Nagas about the story of 'The old woman and ungrateful snake,' which was repaid by its venomous bite rather than gratitude.

AKMWC further reiterated its demand to the government to set up Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kohima at the earliest with adequate expertise to promptly respond to the call for any degree of crimes committed and professionally investigate to deliver justices in time.
