- DIMAPUR — The
Association of Kohima Municipal Ward Council (AKMWC) expressed shock at the
theft at the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) office.
- In a press statement, it noted that the more shocking part
is that there is no CCTV within the KMC office nor security personnel in the
compound, even though the KMC requested that CCTV be installed within the
business establishments.
- Stating that the stolen money belongs to the public, not to
them, and since it was under their custody, the KMC should be held fully
responsible for their carelessness and negligence.
