- DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles, in collaboration with
Sunbird Trust, installed solar street lights in multiple villages of Kiphire
district.

- Located in challenging and remote terrain, an update stated
that these villages have long struggled with erratic electricity supply. The
installation of solar street lights has brought much-needed illumination,
enhancing security, mobility, and the overall quality of life for the
villagers.
- It was mentioned that the village councils and residents of
Seyochung, Singrep, and Phelungre conveyed their appreciation, lauding Assam
Rifles and Sunbird Trust for their gesture.
- Meanwhile, Assam Rifles conducted a special programme in the
run-up to International Yoga Day at Chieswema Garrison.

- The event aimed to promote physical fitness, mental
well-being, and spiritual harmony through the ancient discipline of yoga.
- Under the guidance of trained instructors, participants

participation across all age groups.
