DIMAPUR — The Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Kezoma village in Kohima on February 26 as part of its civic action and community outreach initiatives.
According to an update, the medical camp witnessed participation from residents of Kezoma and nearby areas. A team of medical personnel conducted health check-ups, offered medical consultations, and distributed essential medicines free of cost.

During the camp, a total of 254 villagers were examined. Among them, one case of hypertension-related emergency was identified. The patient was immediately attended to by the medical team, provided appropriate treatment and stabilised.
Special attention was given to elderly citizens, women and children. The camp addressed common health concerns, provided basic diagnostic services, and offered guidance on preventive healthcare practices and hygiene awareness.
The initiative aimed to bridge healthcare gaps in remote and underserved areas where access to medical facilities can often be limited.
