DIMAPUR — In a significant milestone, an agreement was signed between Arms Incorporation represented by Temjen Bursanen Jamir, head of Corporate Affairs, Arms Incorporation, Nagaland, and INRIS India Foundation represented by Akokla Longkumer, Trustee member. The objective was to generate employment opportunities in Japan for the youth of Mokokchung district.


An update from the Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer, stated that skills in healthcare and hospitality would be imparted initially to prepare candidates for overseas employment. It stated that the achievement was made possible under the patronage of Nagaland chief minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, and through the initiative of the IDAN chairman, Abu Metha, and his team.

The agreement was undertaken in the presence of Sharingain Longkumer at his official chamber of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat along with representatives from IDAN.


Report stated that Sharingain Longkumer and Sentiyanger Imchen, chief secretary and former finance commissioner, were instrumental in making the collaboration a reality for Mokokchung.


It further stated that the official launch programme would be undertaken shortly in Mokokchung.
