Aphuyemi FC from Nagaland exited the Futsal Club Championship 2024-25 in Rudrapur after finishing third in Group A.

DIMAPUR — Aphuyemi Football Club from Nagaland participated in the Futsal Club Championship 2024-25 held in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, but failed to qualify for the knockout stage after finishing third in Group A with six points from four matches.
According to an update, the team registered two wins and two losses, scoring a total of 22 goals and conceding 37.
Their results were: Juggernaut FC Gujarat 17-4 Aphuyemi FC (loss), Minerva Academy Punjab 13-6 Aphuyemi FC (loss), Aphuyemi FC 4-1 Reallona FC Ladakh (win), and Triumph FC Himachal Pradesh 6-8 Aphuyemi FC (win).

Aphuyemi FC’s Akumyanger emerged as one of the top scorers of the championship with 12 goals. Despite this individual performance, the team could not progress to the next stage.
The Futsal Club Championship, organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), features 17 teams divided into four groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarter-finals.
The tournament began on August 3 and will conclude on August 18. Meanwhile, it was reported that five players from Aphuyemi FC are under consideration for the national futsal squad.
