Ao Senden will continue its agitation at IMDH Mokokchung until all demands over staffing issues are fulfilled
DIMAPUR — The Ao Senden has decided to continue its agitation over staffing issues at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung, despite the state government transferring and posting a radiologist to the hospital.
In a letter to the Commissioner and Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, dated October 30, the Ao Senden expressed gratitude for the posting of the radiologist as demanded by the organisation. However, the apex Ao tribal body said it was not prepared to call off the agitation until all its demands were met.
The organisation reiterated its demand for all attached doctors and to be reverted to the IMDH. It also called for all transferred and posted doctors and nurses to submit their joining reports at IMDH at the earliest.
The Ao Senden said it would call off the agitation only after these demands were fulfilled.
