Ao Senden gives Nagaland government 30 days to address staffing, infrastructure and personnel attachment concerns at IMDH in Mokokchung
DIMAPUR — The Ao Senden has given Nagaland government 30 days to address three long-pending demands concerning Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH).
In an ultimatum addressed to the principal director of Health & Family Welfare through the chief medical officer, Mokokchung, on September 16, the Ao Senden demanded the replacement posting of a radiologist and dermatologist at IMDH.
It also sought the shifting of hospital operations to the newly constructed Block A of IMDH and demanded the cancellation of all attachments of doctors and nurses, with the personnel to be reverted to IMDH.
The organisation stated that the demands required “prompt” action from the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare.
The Ao Senden warned that failure to take necessary action within the 30-day period would prompt it “to take to our own course of action to make our voice for justice heard at every level of governance.”
