ANSKA TEAM WIN 12 MEDALS AT NATIONAL FUNG FU CHAMPIONSHIP

  • DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Shaolin Kung-Fu Association (ANSKA) team secured a total of 12 medals—seven gold, four silver, and one bronze—for the state at the 9th National Kung Fu Championship, held in Kurseong, Darjeeling, West Bengal, from May 30 to June 1.

  • In a press statement, ANSKA congratulated the medal winners and officials for their dedication and sacrifices and expressed gratitude to the team coach, team leader, team manager, and Rev. Fr. Jojiang Daniel Gangmei, coordinator of Don Bosco Sports Academy, Dimapur Province, for their support and efforts in preparing the team.

  • Gold medals were won by Mongngam Senon, Manshah Nyiemlam, Abdul Aziz, Ayhunlo Jude Khing, Namlang Zeliang, Master Dr. Meyiesielie Albert Sorunuo, and Master Dr. David Keneingutuo Sorunuo. Silver medals were secured by Kechuni Kent, Amin Ali, Nyurhunlo Kent, and Prakash Sharma. MD Faisal won the lone bronze medal for the team.
