- DIMAPUR — The Department of Animal Husbandry and
Veterinary Services organised a regional-level workshop under NLM-EDP 2024-25
at the EBRC hall, Shamator, on May 2, with Dr. H Pamingchuba, chief veterinary
officer, Shamator, as the resource person.
- Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Pamingchuba encouraged keeping
more livestock, such as pigs, poultry, sheep, etc., to boost the rural economy
and provide financial support to the people, according to a DIPR report.
- The workshop was attended by over a hundred participants
from the general public of Shamator district.
