Anderson Theological College in Lumami celebrates 32nd foundation day with Rev. Mulato Chishi urging students to uphold biblical values.

DIMAPUR — Anderson Theological College (ATC), Lumami, celebrated its 32nd foundation and cultural day on the theme "Roots and routes" on February 14.
The event was attended by Rev. Mulato Chishi, the first principal of the college, as the guest speaker, according to a press release.
In the first session, Dr. Shitovi Sumi, Principal, briefly explained why the event is significant and highlighted the contributions and achievements of the pioneers of the college and why they are honoured on this day.
Rev. Mulato Chishi shared reflections on the early days of ATC and its humble beginnings. He reminded the family of ATC about the sacrifices, faith, and vision that laid the foundation of the institution, encouraging the ATC community to cherish and preserve these roots.

In his address, he affirmed that ATC will continue to stand firm as an institution that upholds the Bible as the sole authority and the Bible as the main textbook. He stressed that this commitment defines the spiritual and academic identity of the college.
Expounding on the theme, he spoke on the importance of being rooted and grounded in Christ, assuring that a life firmly established in Him will ultimately bear the fruit of love. He further encouraged students to live with the assurance of salvation and to remain steadfast in their commitment to their calling and spiritual growth.
