KOHIMA — Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT) defeated Kuki United FC 3–1 in the fourth quarter-final match of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi (IG) Stadium, Kohima, on Tuesday.


With the victory, ALT advanced to the semi-finals alongside Chedema Village Youth Organisation, Sechü Zubza FC, and Nagaland United SC. The match marked the conclusion of the four quarter-final fixtures among the eight teams.


Kuki United FC took an early lead when Seivanglen Kuki scored in the 29th minute. The equaliser came for ALT in the 45+3rd minute through Thumsol. Winkle added another goal in the 60th minute, giving ALT a clear lead, followed by a penalty goal from Kagaly in the 65th minute after a foul, sealing the team’s victory.

Tongsin Thumsol of ALT was adjudged Player of the Match. The award was presented by Match Patron Sungti Amer, assistant chief engineer, CAWD.


The first semi-final will be played between Sechü Zubza FC and Chedema Village Youth Organisation on October 15 at 4:30 pm, while Nagaland United SC will face Anal Lenruwl Tangpi in the second semi-final on October 16. The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final on October 18.
