WOKHA — The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha Unit organised a Christmas carol programme across the town starting from the Public Ground, Wokha, on Sunday evening.
Members of the ANTA Wokha Unit, along with the All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) Wokha, took part in the event. As part of the programme, the association distributed coffee and cakes to police personnel on duty and members of the public as a gesture of gratitude for their service.

Addressing the gathering, ANTA Wokha Unit President T Renbemo Kikon extended festive greetings and highlighted the role of taxi drivers and operators in serving the community. He noted that ANTA members spend long hours on the road, ensuring passengers travel safely while sharing in their journeys.
Kikon said the carolling was not only about music but also about spreading goodwill, kindness and unity. He expressed hope that the carols would bring joy to households and strengthen community bonds. He further thanked ANTA members and their families for their dedication throughout the year and urged them to continue serving the public with humility and responsibility.
Concluding his address, Kikon wished everyone a blessed Christmas and prayed for safety, peace and prosperity in the New Year. The programme ended with fellowship.
