KOHIMA — The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Kohima unit taxi drivers organised a campaign at ISBT, Kohima, on Wednesday, urging their present president, Dziesevituo Solo, to continue leading them for the 2025–2030 tenure.
The campaign was organised by representatives of Kohima taxi drivers with the support of other drivers. About 200 taxis participated in the campaign to support the cause.
As part of the initiative, they decided to display a sticker on their taxis that reads, "The taxi drivers of ANTA Kohima unit want Dziesevituo Solo to lead us again for the tenure 2025-2030 as ANTA president Kohima unit for his true leadership and vision," to reinforce their appeal.
A taxi driver, Kekhriengulie, said the campaign was held to support the president to continue till 2030. He stated that the president was not aware of the campaign, but it was organised to demonstrate support and appeal to him to continue for another five years.

He clarified that the president’s tenure has ended and he is about to resign. Therefore, before he submits his resignation, they want him to retain the position of president again, citing that he has fulfilled his promises and undertaken many good initiatives.
He further opined that the taxi drivers are expecting more from Solo in the coming years and therefore want him to continue in his presidentship.
Before the president resigns, the taxi drivers appealed to both the president and the concerned authorities to heed their voice and allow Solo to continue as president of ANTA Kohima unit.
