All Nagaland Private Schools Association unit conducts 100ED Fest workshop
Dr. Soubhagya Dutt with educators representing 21 schools from Kohima district during the 100ED Fest workshop on Saturday.


DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Kohima unit, in collaboration with Burlington English, conducted a 100ED Fest workshop at Hotel Japfu, Kohima, on Saturday.


The programme witnessed the participation of 42 educators representing 21 schools from Kohima district, an update stated.


The workshop held on the theme ‘Empowering educators to support 21st- century learners,” was facilitated by master trainer Dr. Soubhagya Dutt.


Through a series of interactive sessions, Dr. Dutt addressed pertinent issues faced by educators in today’s context. The sessions focused on social media and student well-being, building student motivation, navigating adolescent relationships, and strengthening collaboration with parents.

The programme began with a welcome note proposed by Fr. Innocent Panmei SDB, president of ANPSA Kohima unit, who expressed gratitude to Burlington English and encouraged participants to make the most of the learning experience.


“Participants acknowledged the sessions as highly relevant and impactful, noting that the discussions offered practical strategies for addressing challenges within schools.


“Teachers expressed appreciation for the resourceful insights provided by the trainer and affirmed the importance of such professional development opportunities,” the update stated.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Jacob Charalel, vice president of ANPSA Central and Catholic schools in-charge Nagaland, emphasised the need for continuous upskilling of educators in order to meet the evolving demands of education.


He also expressed gratitude to Burlington English for extending its expertise and to the ANPSA Kohima unit for organising the event.


Executives of ANPSA Kohima unit highlighted that the workshop was a step towards fostering stronger collaboration among private schools in the district and equipping educators to better serve 21st -century learners.


The event concluded with words of thanks to by Thomas VJ, general secretary of ANPSA Kohima unit, to the resource person Burlington English, and all participating schools for making the workshop a success.
