DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Chümoukedima Unit, organised a felicitation programme to honour the Nagaland Board of School Education-conducted HSLC and HSSLC examination toppers of 2026 at the CPO Hall in Chümoukedima on Wednesday.
Dr. M Chuba Imsong, Chairman of MARCOFED, attended the event as the special guest, according to an update. Elizabeth Dozo, President of ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit, delivered a congratulatory address, appreciating the hard work and commitment of the students.
The toppers honoured during the event included Gwakelo Kent (12th rank, 96.00%) from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School; Shamima Akthar (13th rank, 95.83%) from Cosmopolitan School; Annmaria PS (13th rank, 95.83%) from Saint John’s Higher Secondary School; Basudeb Das (17th rank, 95.17%) from North Town Higher Secondary School; Impunenla Pongen (17th rank, 95.17%) from Unity Christian Higher Secondary School; Kelina RK (19th rank, 95.00%) from Saint Savio Higher Secondary School; and Andrew Billung (20th rank, 94.83%) from Saint John’s Higher Secondary School.
Impunenla Pongen spoke on behalf of the toppers, expressing gratitude and encouraging fellow students to remain dedicated in their academic pursuits.
In his exhortation, Dr. Imsong encouraged the students to uphold discipline, determination, and integrity as the pillars of success.
The event was attended by officials from the Chümoukedima Chambers of Commerce, the Chümoukedima Town Women Organisation, school heads, parents, and teachers.
