A session on succeeding in competitive exams underway at

- KIPHIRE — As part of the Saturday activities,
Agape Higher Secondary School in Kiphire organised a talk on competitive exams,
featuring Vilila S Thoanger, Assistant Research Officer from the Department of
Art and Culture, on April 5.
- The session, held at the school auditorium, was attended by
students from classes 9 to 12.
- Encouraging the students, the resource person urged them to
cultivate good habits, emphasising that developing strong character is
essential for achieving one's goals in life.
- Sharing how she had aced the competitive exam, she said that
hard work and a never-give-up attitude are key to success in life. She added
that she had studied 10-12 hours a day for two years to pass the competitive
exam.
- She also mentioned that she had cracked the UGC NET exam and
received an opportunity to serve as an assistant professor at a reputed college
outside the state, which she described as a dream come true. However, she felt
the need to help her fellow Nagas, which led her to give up the teaching job
and attempt the competitive exam, she added.
- She also urged the students to dream big and explore every
possible way to achieve their goals.
