Nagaland Civil Service probationers undertake study tour to Institute of Management in Government in Kerala.

DIMAPUR — The Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima, conducted a Bharat Darshan programme for Nagaland Civil Service (NCS) probationers of 2024 batch from September 9 with a one-week attachment at Institute of Management in Government (IMG) in Kerala.
An update from ATI Kohima stated that the focus area of the study tour to IMG was on good governance and tourism sector.
During the one-week attachment at IMG, the NCS probationers interacted with the Kerala administrative service officers followed by a session on good governance– Kerala perspective.

Field visits during the attachment included visits to Kerala Art and Craft Village, Start-up Mission, Centre for Tuber Crops Research Institute (ICAR – CTCRI), Alappuzha Houseboat Project of District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) and Kanyakumari.
The probationers also met world renowned humanitarian leader Mata Amritanandamayi. It stated that her organization- the MA Math, does worldwide charitable activities including running one of the top ranked private universities in India namely Amrita University and also one of the largest private hospitals in the country- Amrita hospital.
Report also stated that the probationers would further have one-week attachment each at Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in West Bengal and at State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD) in Tripura.
