NPF Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon issues a condolence message following the passing of Rongsenchila, wife of former MLA late Imsumeren.

DIMAPUR — Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Secretary General of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), has expressed sorrow over the passing of Rongsenchila, the wife of late Imsumeren, former MLA from the 26 Aonglenden Assembly Constituency.
In a condolence message on Tuesday, Kikon described late Imsumeren as one of the pioneering leaders of Nagaland. He added that through every chapter of his remarkable journey, Rongsenchila stood as his quiet pillar of strength, a woman of deep faith, grace, compassion, and unwavering love.
He noted that Imsumeren was the first matriculate from Ungma village, a dedicated teacher, a committed public servant, and one of the 12 founding MLAs of the Democratic Party of Nagaland (now Naga People’s Front) from the 26 Aonglenden AC in 1964.

"With quiet dignity and gentle humility, she nurtured a large and loving family, offering warmth, wisdom, and support not only to her husband but also to everyone whose life she touched. She was the heart of the home, a devoted mother, and a source of comfort and inspiration to all," he stated.
Rongsenchila is survived by two sons, seven daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
On behalf of the Naga People’s Front, Kikon extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
