DIMAPUR — Dimapur Bongs will host its musical night “Aahobane 1433” on April 18 at DDSC Stadium, with proceeds aimed at supporting its year-round social initiatives, the organisers said on Wednesday.
Announcing the event at a press conference held at Hotel Saramati, the organisers said the programme, returning after a three-year gap, is both a celebration of the Bengali New Year and a fundraising platform for various social causes.
Convenor of the event, Abhijit Bhattacharya, said Dimapur Bongs, a socio-cultural society with over 250 members, organises the programme annually in line with its motto “Help the helpless”.

Dimapur Bongs president Abhijit Chowdhury said this year’s event is being organised on a larger scale in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland.
The musical night will feature performances by Kolkata-based bands T.R.A.P (The Radical Array Project) and INSYNC, along with Imna Yaden and other local artistes.
Secretary Jatan Sutradhar said the event will also serve as a platform to promote emerging talent from the region. Tickets have been priced at INR 300, INR 1000 and INR 2500 (admit two), and are available at the Dimapur Bongs Office, the Royal Enfield showroom, and Nerolac showroom in Dimapur as well as through QR codes on promotional materials.
