9th Capt. N Kengurüse Memorial Football Tournament: AR conducts live band performance in Kohima

DIMAPUR — As part of promotional campaign for the upcoming 9th Capt. N Kengurüse Memorial Football Tournament, Assam Rifles on Friday organised a live band performance in Kohima.

A defence release stated that the open-to-all event witnessed an overwhelming turnout with students and youth from Kohima and nearby areas gathering in large numbers. It stated that the Assam Rifles band enthralled the audience with energetic and patriotic tunes, creating an evening filled with enthusiasm, rhythm and national pride.

It added that the performance served as a curtain-raiser for the tournament, paying tribute to Capt. N Kengurüse, MVC (P), the pride of Nagaland and a symbol of valour and inspiration.
