DIMAPUR — The 7th Odyutsü Ekhung general conference was held at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur, on February 10.
During the Odyuo family gathering, Tsenchibemo Odyuo, IFS (retd.), shared an exhortation focusing on building character, responsibility, and purpose, stated an update.
Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4:2,3 and Genesis 2:7-14, he highlighted the human condition and encouraged becoming a person of value over seeking success. He further challenged the family to embrace open-mindedness and active responsibility.
HSLC and HSSLC toppers 2025, Renbeni Odyuo (2nd rank), Yikhum, and Benri Odyuo (5th rank), New Riphyim, were felicitated with cash and certificates.

The General Secretary, Finance Secretary and unit reports were presented, and a short speech was delivered by Thunglamo Odyuo, Limhathung Motsurüi Ekhung representative.
The second session followed with a general meeting where agendas regarding the History Committee, the Constitution (Sakhung) Amendment Committee, Membership, and a Committee on Higher Studies were deliberated and resolved.
A new team of office bearers (2026-2028) was elected with Wochamo Odyuo as chairman, Thungjamo Odyuo and Mhonrao Odyuo as vice chairmen, Mhao Odyuo as general secretary, Likao Odyuo, Benathung Odyuo and Chichamo Odyuo as joint secretaries, Nzanthung Odyuo as finance secretary, Thungrhomo Odyuo as treasurer, and Renchithung Odyuo as information secretary.
