DIMAPUR — With an objective to provide essential healthcare services and promote health awareness among the local community, the 78 battalion of Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF), in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Sechü-Zubza, on Wednesday conducted a free medical camp in Sechü-Zubza village.


An update from 78 battalion CRPF stated that free health consultation, health check-up, blood investigation and ECG services were provided during the camp. Additionally, medicines were distributed free of cost to over 80 persons from Sechu village.


It stated that the initiative provided much-needed healthcare support and highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive care.

It added that 78 battalion CRPF is committed to serving the community towards improving health outcomes in rural areas.


Meanwhile, the villagers have expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting that such camps are crucial for their health and well-being, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare facilities.


It further stated that 78 battalion CRPF plans to continue its efforts in providing healthcare services to unreachable and far-flung communities with more such camps in the future.
