DIMAPUR — Pfutsero Government College (PGC) held its advisory board meeting on Wednesday at the principal’s chamber, chaired by the deputy commissioner of Phek, Rhosietho Nguori.
The meeting was attended by the member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly of 16th Pfutsero Assembly Constituency, Dr. Neisatuo Mero, and other advisory board members.
An update from the college stated that the college’s principal, Dr. Anungla Pongener, highlighted the college’s preparations for NAAC re-accreditation and the upcoming golden jubilee in 2032.

Other key issues discussed in the meeting included shifting to the new campus, road access, infrastructure needs and fencing of the college campus.
Speaking in the meeting, Dr. Mero recalled the contributions of pioneers like Weprenyi Kapfo and called for collective responsibility in strengthening the college. He further assured to pursue the pending matters with the Higher Education Department.
