- DIMAPUR — The 4th
Pre-State Shooting Championship 2025 in Small Bore Rifle and Pistol events will
be held from May 27 to the 31st at Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy,
Khelo India Centre, Dimapur, and Aries Sports Complex Shooting Ranges, Bamunpukhuri-I,
Dimapur.
- According to an update, the event is being organised by
Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy in association with the Nagaland Rifle
Association (NRA).
- Participants from affiliated district rifle associations,
clubs, and academies in Nagaland are eligible to take part in this competition.
The event will feature individual matches, with registration open until May 22
for normal entry fees. Late entries can be accepted with a triple entry fee
until May 26.

- Categories for competitors include Juniors (up to 21 years),
Youth (up to 19 years), Sub-Youth (up to 16 years), Masters (45-60 years),
Senior Masters (60-70 years), and Super Masters (70 years and above). Juniors
and Youth may compete in senior and junior categories, while Sub-Youth
competitors can participate in all categories except Masters and Senior
Masters.
- The competition will be governed by national and ISSF rules,
with a protest fee of INR 200 and INR 500 for appeals. Shooters must be
registered with the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), and any
necessary shooter ID applications should be completed before the event.
- The championship will feature various events, including the
50m Rifle Prone, 50m Rifle 3 Position, 10m Air Rifle, 25m Standard Pistol, and
more, with entry fees ranging from INR 1,000 to INR 1,500 per match, depending
on the event.
