- Tinukaba Longchar, convenor of the tournament planning
committee, revealed that the idea stemmed from KSA’s silver jubilee
resolutions. He noted its alignment with school summer vacations, making it an
ideal time for young players.
- “While there are many tournaments for youth and seniors,
structured platforms for children are scarce. This event bridges that gap,”
Longchar added.
- The 6-a-side tournament welcomes teams from across Nagaland,
with confirmed entries from Dimapur, Mokokchung, among others.
