
Participants and resource persons at the 3rd Continuing
Nursing Education held at Likya Community Hall in Wokha.
- DIMAPUR — The
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Board, Wokha, organised the 3rd Continuing
Nursing Education from April 29 to the 30th, themed "Nursing profession:
ethical and legal issues in nursing, enhancing effective communication (IPR),
neonatal assessment, and management of normal labour," at Likya Community
Hall, Wokha.
- According to an update, a total of 75 delegates participated
in the event.
- Dr. Mhonchan Kithan, Medical Superintendent of District
Hospital Wokha, and Rev. Fr. TC Joseph, principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary
School, attended the inaugural programme, where they encouraged and motivated
the nurses to never stop learning new things.

- The resource persons were Dr. J John Kent, senior
paediatrician; Premy Nchumbeni Ezung; and Kethozenuo Mere, who equipped the
nurses with their subject expertise, knowledge, and skills.
- The CNE organising secretary, Lireni C Tungoe, urged the
nurses to seize every opportunity to learn new things and encouraged them to
attend future CNE events, as this would help them become competent nurses and,
ultimately, uplift the standard of the nursing profession.
