DIMAPUR — The Residency Colony Youth Organisation (RCYO), Dimapur, has expressed concern over the arrest of Akangkokba Ao, Gaon Bura (GB) of Residency Colony, who has been taken into custody as the third accused in connection with the alleged sexual assault and physical abuse of a minor girl in Dimapur.
In a statement, RCYO strongly condemned the incident, reportedly involving O Watimeren Jamir and his accomplices, describing it as a heinous and inhuman act.
The organisation said the crime was not only a grave offence against an innocent child but also an affront to the conscience, dignity and future of society.
