The Li Ning 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior and Masters Badminton Championship concluded in Sovima with winners from across districts.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Badminton Association organised the 2nd phase of the Li Ning 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior and Masters Badminton Championship from September 30 to October 3 at K Kire Indoor Stadium, Nagaland Police Complex, and Multi Disciplinary Stadium in Sovima under Chümoukedima district.
According to the association, the championship brought together players from across the 17 districts of Nagaland, who competed in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
The closing ceremony on October 3 was attended by W Chingang Konyak, advisor for Geology and Mining, Department of Underdeveloped Areas, who also played an exhibition match.

A felicitation programme was held for the gold and silver medallists as well as the team manager and coaches of the North East Zonal Inter-State Badminton Championship held at Agartala, Tripura.
To encourage young players of Nagaland, gift hampers sponsored by the Li Ning brand were given away to all the participants of the Under-9 category.
