KOHIMA — PLLA Manipur defeated Don Bosco SA 14-1 in the ongoing 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, on Monday.
Hemgoulal scored four goals, while Nohminlen and Ngamkholal registered a hat-trick each. Jangminlal added two goals, and Joyful and Ngamminlal contributed one goal each.
The lone goal for Don Bosco SA came from Niamchuilung.
In the second match of the day, Mao SU beat Meriema YO 5-1. For Mao SU, Lamminthang scored a hat-trick, while W John netted two goals. Lalgamba scored the only goal for Meriema YO in the 47th minute.
