25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy: Mez & Co thrash Kigwema SU 5-0

KOHIMA — Mez & Co and Sadar Hills FA (Manipur) registered victories on Saturday in the ongoing 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Mez & Co defeated Kigwema SU 5-0 in the 12th match of the tournament. Thokchom Adison Singh scored two goals, while Bijoy Moktan, Tangua Ragvi and Noulevituo Pienyii contributed one goal each.

Sadar Hills FA (Manipur) beat Nagaland University Kohima Campus 4-0 in the last match of the week. Langougin scored a hat-trick for Sadar Hills FA, while the other goal was scored by Ngamchinlen in the 30th minute.

On September 19, braces from Lunminlal placed Chedema Village YO (CVYO) on the winning side in their match against Kidima Farmers United, ending the 11th match 2-0.

In a tightly contested match between Phesama SU and Corinthians FC on September 19, Phesama SU won by an additional goal.

From Phesama SU, Theja Chuse and Neisaleto Kipu scored a goal each, while an own goal in the 46th minute also placed them at an advantage. Corinthians FC fought hard and scored two goals, with each coming from Thejaneilhou Mere and Thejangutuo Pfiisenuo.
