First CCSA Open Football Tournament begins at Pfutsero, Phek district; winners to receive cash prizes and individual honours.

KOHIMA — The first edition of the Centre Chakhesang Sports’ Association (CCSA) Open Football Tournament began today at Pfutsero Sports Complex in Phek district.
Nagaland’s Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, S Keoshu Yimkhiung, graced the opening ceremony as the special guest.
The tournament, registered under the Football Association of Phek District, will run until August 22.

The champion will walk away with a cash prize of INR 1.20 lakh, while the runner-up will receive INR 70,000. Semi-finalists will be awarded INR 10,000 each. Individual prizes will also be presented, including Golden Ball, Golden Boot, Best Goalkeeper, and Man of the Match.
