Yon Sporting Club thrashed Airfield Colony Football Club 6–0, while Nyiro Range Football Club won on penalties to reach the semi-finals in Wokha.

WOKHA — Yon Sporting Club stormed into the semi-finals of the 15th Lotha Football Championship 2026 with a commanding 6–0 victory over Airfield Colony FC in the third quarter-final at the Public Ground, Wokha, on Thursday, while Nyiro Range FC (NRFC) edged Old Changsu FC on penalties to book the other semi-final berth.
Yon asserted dominance early when Sentisang scored in the second minute. An own goal by Airfield Colony FC doubled the lead soon after, before Yongsen Ao made it 3–0 in the 28th minute as Yon went into halftime firmly in control.
The second half saw Yon maintain their attacking momentum. Rhondemo scored twice in the 66th and 89th minutes, while Renpithung added another in the 79th minute to complete the rout. Airfield Colony FC were unable to mount a response as Yon sealed a comprehensive win.
In the fourth quarter-final, NRFC and Old Changsu FC produced a closely fought contest. NRFC took the lead in the 13th minute through Nchumthing, but Old Changsu FC levelled in stoppage time when Ekonthung scored in the 90th minute, forcing the match into a penalty shootout.
NRFC held their nerve in the tie-breaker to secure a place in the semi-finals.
