DIMAPUR — A Handloom Exhibition was inaugurated by P Tokugha Sema, director of the Department of Industries and Commerce, in Kohima on September 10 and will continue till September 23.
According to a press release issued by the Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd., the exhibition is organised by the corporation and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.

Altogether, 60 participants from Assam and various districts of Nagaland are showcasing varieties of handloom, khadi and handicraft products.
The exhibition aims to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and to establish linkages between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It also seeks to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans.
